Use TEAM "D" to support ERGYB

When you eat at Buffalo Wild Wings in Elk River, you can help support Elk River Girls Youth Basketball. 10% of the sale goes to ERGYB. Just make sure you mention TEAM "D" and the staff will take care of the rest. Doesn't get much easier than that!

Walk With Us at the Parade!

By Lora Meier 07/12/2021, 8:15pm CDT

Show your skills at the Sherburne County Parade

Join us for the Sherburne County Parade and walk the parade route with ERGYB.  Show off your skills and have fun at the same time!  Don't forget this will be an excellent opportunity to earn some practice minutes for the ERGYB summer challenge while dribbling and shooting through the parade. We will have the basketball hoop on the trailer again this year!

WHEN:     Saturday, July 17th
TIME:       Line up 9:30AM /  Parade begins at 10AM
WHAT TO BRING: A basketball to dribble and a water bottle labeled with your name. Wear your ERGYB In House T-shirt or Travel Jersey/uniform.
WHERE: We are unit number 17. Line up will be on Main Street near the Handke School.
PICK UP: The parade ends behind the fairgrounds at the intersection of Orono Parkway and Joplin Avenue, however, we will use the YMCA parking lot as our meeting place.  Please pick up your child in the YMCA parking when ERGYB is done walking the route.

We are having a combined float with the Elk River Boys Youth Basketball this year, so bring your brother. Parents may walk with us also.

If your daughter will be walking in the parade with us please send an email to board member Jessica Schafer at Please include your daughter's name, your name and phone number.  You can also find Jessica when dropping off your daughter in order to give her this information.

From the parade committee: Please avoid having cars drop off parade participants on Main Street.  Plan for your group to meet/drop off on side streets along the parade line-up area.  We only want the vehicles that will be pulling floats/part of the parade to enter the line-up area. There will be water and Restrooms provided by the United Methodist Church.

Thank you for your support - we hope to see many players Saturday morning!!
