Please arrive early for any additional administrative tasks you may have, including submitting your deposit to complete volunteer time and player uniform fittings.

All girls who are interested in playing travel basketball must attend the tryout sessions for your grade level.

Tryouts will consist of a series of drills and game type situations that are conducted by independent evaluators. Board members or parents with daughters in the program will not be considered as evaluators, with the exception of high school coaches.

Tryouts are “closed” to everyone except the players, evaluators, coach candidates and the Travel Director.

Please note that players who attend tryouts may not make a Travel team. Girls not ready for the Travel program will be refunded their full registration fees.  They can then register for the Rogers house program if they choose.  www.RAYBA.org

Teams will be selected immediately following tryouts and posted on this website with the season officially starting in October for players in grades 5 to 8 and November for 4th grade.

Below is a list of some of the drills that are utilized in the try-out process. The drills listed are only a representation of the types of drills used in practice.  Some or all may or may not be utilized in the tryout process depending on the numbers and time constraints. Hopefully, this will help the players in preparing for the tryout session.  This document is for guidance only.
